Citra, Strata, Motueka and Nectaron pamper this Gold Top DIPA with juicy, sweet, unctuous delight. Papaya and pineapple punch, passionfruit martinis and mezcal margaritas fall into an undercurrent of grapefruit fizz, forest spruce, medical-grade herbaceousness and a sliver of floral habanero, before riding a sugar wave of melon sorbet, mango lassi, strawberry jam and peaches in syrup. A finishing touch of lactose adds creaminess, depth, and brings it all together like the clotted cream on a perfectly-served scone.
