The part of Wales we’re based is an incredible mish-mash of culture, and it’s reflected best in the dialect – part-Welsh, part-Liverpudlian, and by proxy, part-Irish. This dictates a lot of the day to day sayings in the brewery, and when we were sat in a meeting talking about various recipes submitted by the team, someone shouted up “That’s mine, la”.
The beer itself is textbook Polly’s – high juice, low bitterness, accentuated by our generous use of Citra, Mosaic, and Sabro in the dry hop. Expect a swagbag of honeydew melon, mango, tangerine, and pina colada flavours abound from the Sabro. A beer that is an homage to the wonderfully bizarre part of the world we grew up.
