Our most ambitious barrel-aged stout to date, Empire is a triple barrel-aged beer that has undergone successive aging in bourbon, rum, and maple syrup barrels. • Each stage of the aging process adds another layer of depth, from the oaky, whiskey-driven backbone to the sweetness of rum and the final rich maple influence. • Unlike our other adjunct-heavy stouts, Empire is pure, relying entirely on the barrels to develop its flavor.
