From being paralysed in the Manchester Arena bombing to trekking Mount Kilimanjaro in an adapted wheelchair – Martin Hibbert is turning ‘an act of terror into a force for good’ to raise funds and awareness for SIA.
Using a specially adapted wheelchair, and with the team who helped save his life, Martin will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. In doing so, Martin is turning an appalling act of terror in to the opposite, a powerful statement of hope and optimism, that can change forever the lives of the 2500 people who sustain a spinal cord injury in the UK each year.

Martin's Mountain Gin has been developed by Martin and his climb team and distilled and bottled by Silver Circle Distillery in Monmouthshire. Bottled at 42% ABV, Martin's Mountain Gin is distilled with botanicals which are found in the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania including mango, pink pepper and grapefruit.
