Gin Mare is a lovely Spanish Gin with a nose of rosemary and olives but a taste initially of juniper berries and coriander that switches to the bitter herbal flavours of basil, rosemary and thyme!
Gin Mare is born and raised from a Mediterranean environment. Their distillery is located in an ancient fishing village between the Costa Brava and the Costa Dorada in a picturesque Old Chapel that was once a refuge for monks.
Gin Mare has been crafted using the finest botanicals sourced mainly from the Mediterranean area and a premium barley spirit. It uses the 'Arbequina Olive' a small expensive olive that is the only one in the world with its own 'Designation of Origin.'
A lot of time and care has been invested in this fabulous gin as the fruit zests are macerated for a year in a neutral spirit before it is even used in the distillation process.
