Every great barrel-aged project needs a robust foundation. We started by brewing a complex, velvety Imperial Stout built on a rich malt bill of dark crystal, chocolate malts, and roasted barley. To give it a distinctly deep, rum-like sweetness, we added a generous dose of Dark Muscovado sugar.

Fermented with a blend of English yeast and balanced with traditional British East Kent Goldings and Fuggles hops, the un-aged version of called Neighbourhood Watch, is a profoundly dark, roasty, and layered experience right out of the tank.
