Tignanello is the great, rule-breaking red that caused a revolution in Tuscan winemaking in the 1970s. This same estate makes this fine Chianti Classico Riserva. Sangiovese with Merlot and Cabernet, long aged in oak. Elegant, savoury and intense.
On the nose, fruity, varietal aromas of the Sangiovese grape delight, complemented by vanilla and spicy nuances. Elegant texture, balanced, tasteful, lively, engaging, with soft, soft and silky tannins. The finish is long and sustainable.
