Unico Zelo Esoterico Orange Wine is an inventive and textural skin-contact white wine from South Australia, primarily made from Zibibbo (Muscat of Alexandria) and a blend of other white varietals. The orange hue and complex structure are achieved by allowing the grape skins to remain in contact with the juice during fermentation, a winemaking technique dating back thousands of years. This process extracts natural tannins, color, and depth, resulting in a wine that defies traditional classification. It offers a captivating profile with aromas of dried apricot, marmalade, and subtle spice. The palate is savory, medium-bodied, and dry, finishing with a pleasant grip.
